Spring Faux Stems & Decor
It’s that time of year when us New Englanders feel spring around the corner but the weather says otherwise. It is still cold, the branches are still bare and the grass is well, mud. Needless to say, when I’m staging homes at this time of year I have to find ways to bring in the sunshine and make a home seem just as welcoming as when everything is in bloom.
In an ideal world, I would stage with real flowers and plants but they are just too high maintenance during the home selling process. Cue the faux stems, fruits and vegetables. I’m always on the hunt for faux decor that looks as realistic as possible.
Today I’m sharing a few of my favorite faux finds that will bring the spring into your home:
Afloral is my favorite place to get faux stems from. I always find myself reaching for them over others when staging. A bunch of these lilac stems would look so pretty on a console table or in the kitchen.
If you caught my latest staging these faux daises made an appearance. Even just 2 of these stems on a mantle or randomly placed around a home would look lovely.
My favorite faux food are these artichokes. I’ve styled them many ways but they could honestly hang around in a decorative kitchen bowl all year round.
Better than your standard faux lemons, these oranges with the leaves will brighten up any kitchen.
With Easter coming up, I love these neutral wood eggs in a bowl on a coffee table or in the kitchen to add subtle hints to spring and the holiday.
I hope these decor finds help you welcome spring in your own home.
